University Libraries are established to support education and research activities and to meet the information needs of staff, students and faculty members arising from academic programs and scientific researches. University of City Island Library carries the world standards to our island not only with its dimensions but also with the services it offers and targets. If we first give the numerical dimensions, our library has a capacity of 55,000 printed books in 400 open shelf requests and is a world-class culture and information access center with more than 1,000,000 electronic journals and books, 5 individual group study rooms, 1 study room, and a desk for 250 people. All our students and guests benefit from our library service free of charge.

The concept of librarianship has developed a lot in the world now. Libraries are not just places where you stop by and borrow books. Equipped with today’s latest electronic technology, you can use this center to access information from your home via the internet.

On the one hand, while developing our library services, on the other hand, we aim to transform our targeted collection into a collection of 200,000 printed books in the next 5 years.
